Top Dining-Out Trends for a Post-Pandemic Society

Posted on November 6, 2020 by Peggy Mckenzie

The unexpectedness of coronavirus has caused many of us in the food and beverage industry to prevent in our tracks as well as pause for a minute. We thought at first it was a temporary hiatus in life as we identify it, in the way we meet people outside our home with friends and family over drinks and dinner.

As people adjusted to the new reality, bars and restaurants had to rapidly decide their next move. Many were hesitant and firstly closed, though others began expanding their services to take in deliveries, mini-groceries, take-out, and meal kits.

When the economy reopened, it was clear that new health and safety protocols were to be implemented, and there was a new requirement to address as well as allay customer fears about dining out. Here are 5 dining-out trends we hope to see in a post-pandemic society.

Communication and Transparency

The first trend in dining-out is heightened consumer awareness of safety and sanitation. Hotel companies must aggressively demonstrate adaptation to the new security protocols and concurrently, communicate this to consumers always.

It will be important to make sure that staffing teams feel safe returning to work as well as that customers feel safe frequenting a restaurant. Cleanliness must be visible always, and protocols must be openly posted on a company’s website and on the site for all to see. Creativity and Innovation

Several restaurants have introduced service extensions like supply and take-out options, in addition to pop-up grocery stores during this Pandemic. And there’s no purpose for that to stop when businesses reopen. The restaurateurs who have paid for it by providing meals to necessary workers during this time stand out.

Other creative endeavors that have emerged during the virus include the rise of subscription services, in which customers can request an iconic market box that includes various vendor items for pickup or delivery. Despite the pandemic, or perhaps because of it, innovation has exploded.

Contactless Technology and Virtual Presence

Contactless ordering, paying, and picking up is one more dining-out trend that we hope will continue for the foreseeable future as customers continue to practice social distancing. Meanwhile, the necessity to be contactless has intensified the virtual presence of companies.

During this pandemic, from virtual happy hours to meetings, many restaurants have turned to set up virtual tip jars to help gain some relief for their employees. Robotics and job automation will become more common in restaurants and bars as the requirement for contactless experiences as well as social distancing continues.

A Collaborative Community

The restaurant community is tight-knit. Many restaurant and bar owners have been sharing their playbook with each other during these uncertain times. The industry has come together to help each other from launching relief funds within days of closing to sharing best practices for packaging as well as delivery.

Several have even referred their own laid off or licensed employees to others who wanted help setting up their knowledge to take online orders or raise their presence on social media.

Reset

The outlook for dining out can be very dissimilar from now on. For example, communal tables and shared menus can disappear. Several have interrogated the permanence of the buffet, but with proper warranties and the elimination of self-service options, while maintaining extensive options, the buffet can be changed to survive in the future.

Dining out will stay to be an experience people want, but that will differ by demographic. The restaurant’s physical layout is likely to be redesigned to emphasize greater social distancing, and alfresco dining with fresh air could become the norm, alongside take-out and home delivery. As a result, restaurants may require a smaller footprint, and eating areas could be converted to shared spaces, such as a dining room. Click here for further details.

How CBD can help you achieve your fitness levels

Posted on June 14, 2020September 18, 2020 by Peggy Mckenzie

CBD is an effective treatment for those who suffer from minor pains. Everyone experiences pain at some point in their life and for most, they’re able to overcome it within a few short hours. Unfortunately, this isn’t always the same for everyone and millions live with constant pain. Fitness enthusiasts can experience a lot of pain as they workout and because of their fitness routines. Cannabidiol may be the solution to meet your fitness goals. So, how can CBD help you achieve this?

Cannabidiol Boosts Energy Levels and Keeps the Pains Away

When you have minor aches or pains you don’t want to do anything but sit with your feet up and relax. Unfortunately, this is not ideal for those who want to improve their fitness and become healthier. With CBD, it might be possible to remove those pains and give your energy levels a real boost. Of course, depending on the extent of the pain, it may stick with you but minor joint or muscle pains can be reduced. This means you can focus again on your fitness and improve your overall health. If nothing else, it’ll ease your pain when getting back into exercise for the first time.

Easing Your Feelings of Nausea

What does nausea have to do with meeting your fitness goals? Well, the reality is that sometimes, for whatever reason, you can feel a little bit of nausea before, during, and even after working out. You can feel unwell when you wake in the morning. It’s usually a minor problem that doctors help sort out. Fortunately, CBD might also be able to ease this problem because of your fitness workout. This means you can focus on your fitness goals more so than nausea. Just remember to keep hydrated to prevent nausea during your workouts. click here to read more about Nausea.

More Sleep, More Recovery Time

Cannabidiol can ease stress, anxieties, and reduce joint and muscle pain. If you suffer from these things you can struggle to get a good night’s rest and that’s a major problem. You don’t have a good night’s sleep and wake tired and frustrated. Usually, you won’t be interested or focused on your fitness workouts so you miss your goals. What’s more, your muscles don’t get enough time to recover. Fortunately, CBD may allow you to remove some of those pains and get a good night’s rest. This means you wake up feeling refreshed and able to carry on with your fitness workouts.

Boosting Fitness in the Effective Manner

Cannabidiol can be a useful solution to look into when you want to reach your fitness goals. However, that alone won’t guarantee your success. Remember, CBD offers fitness benefits but if you don’t eat a healthy, balanced diet or exercise routinely then you won’t improve your overall fitness. CBD isn’t a miracle cure for dieting, weight loss, or improving fitness; it’s always down to hard work and determination. Getting into an exercise routine may help make the task easier. CBD may be especially useful for those who’ve been out of the fitness route and experience muscle and joint pains. What is the Correct Dosage of CBD?

What is the Correct Dosage of CBD?

Posted on May 2, 2020September 18, 2020 by Justin Brock

It’s no longer news that Cannabidiol or CBD has several health benefits. But it’s a bit challenging to know the correct dosage to take. In case you don’t know, CBD is one of the several ingredients of the cannabis plants. And it’s available in different forms including; oil tablets, and creams. And the dosage of CBD you are taking primarily depends on its form and usage.

Let me quickly clarify something about Cannabidiol. It is not psychoactive, that means it won’t make you high; instead it has the following benefits;

  • It reduces anxiety and depression
  • It reduces seizures in people with epilepsy
  • CBD improves sleep
  • It helps to improve your heart health
  • It soothes pains and inflammation
  • Also, it helps to improve the symptoms of inflammatory bowel diseases;

As heartwarming the benefits of CBD are, you need to take the right dosage. Otherwise, it might not work for the condition you are trying to treat.

Even though the CBD market is growing rapidly, there’s still confusion regarding its usage, safety, and effectiveness. Don’t get me wrong, CBD products are legal, and their legal status varies among states.

However, the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) doesn’t regulate most CBD products. That’s why the quality, amount to take per dose, and safety of the products vary.

What is the Correct Dosage of CBD?

Uses and Dosage

For the avoidance of doubt, the FDA has approved only one Cannabis-derived product – Epidiolex. And it’s available by prescription. Again, Epidiolex approval is strictly for the treatment of seizures in people who are suffering from two severe forms of epilepsy called Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome and Dravet syndrome.

The dosage of Epidiolex (a form of CBD oil) is as follows;

  • The starting dosage of Epidiolex is 2.5 milligrams per body weight in kg/mg twice a day. This amounts to a total dosage of 5mg/kg each day.
  • After using it for one week, you can increase the dosage to 5mg/kg twice a day; this will amount to 10 mg/kg per day.

However, there are currently no official guidelines for other products that contain CBD because the FDA doesn’t regulate them. So, the right thing to do is to speak with your doctor about dosage before using any CBD products. Click here for more benefit of Cannabidiol, CBD.

Again, the method of administering Cannabidiol products can also determine the dosage you take. Generally, here are the ways of administering CBD products;

  • CBD oil solutions
  • CBD capsules,
  • Nasal spray
  • Tablets that patients place under the tongue (Sublingual)

However, there is a broader range of cannabidiol products available recently. Some of these products are food products, dietary supplements, cosmetics, and animal health products. In a nutshell, the dosage of CBD product you take depends on the condition you are using it to treat and the method of administration. Below are common conditions CBD products treat and their dosage;

  • Anxiety: The CBD treatment dosage for anxiety is to take 300 to 600 mg in oral form.
  •  Bowel Disease: You can use cannabidiol product in a sublingual form (olive oil drops) 5mg twice daily to treat bowel disease.
  • Type 2 Diabetes: Take 100 mg twice daily in oral form to treat type 2 diabetes.
  • Pain Due to Cancer: Take 60 -600 Mg per day in oral form to treat pain due to cancer.
  • Parkinson’s Disease: Take 75 to 300 mg per day in oral form to treat Parkinson’s disease.
  • Huntington’s Disease: Take up to 12 sprays per day to cure Huntington’s disease.
